Rainwater Harvesting Rebates
Rebate is based upon the total amount of rain that can be stored in rain barrels and cisterns total capacity.
- $25 for 50 – 149 gallons
- $50 for 150 – 299 gallons
- $75 for 300 – 499 gallons
- $100 for 500 – 999 gallons
- $125 for 1000 – 1499 gallons
- $150 for 1500 gallons and over
WaterSense Smart Irrigation Controllers
A WaterSense labeled controller automatically, or manually, reduces watering times or the number of days when the system goes on so that less water is delivered to the plants, during the cooler months or when it has rained recently. Some of these controllers are equipped with Smartphone-friendly irrigation technology to allow the user to set watering times remotely. Replacing a standard irrigation timer with a WaterSense labeled irrigation controller can save up to 30% in outdoor watering. Rebate amount: 25% up to $100 Residential or $500 Commercial includes cost of professional installation.
Treebates
Professional tree care or for purchase of new low and medium water use trees that appear on the Xeriscaping Guide. Tree care examples includes hiring a professional for pruning or installing a more efficient irrigation equipment. Additionally: drip irrigation, fertilization, pest management and bulk organic mulch and compost qualifies. (25% up to $100 Residential or $500 Commercial).
