Field Foreman/ Team Lead

Full-Time 40 hrs/wk

$22-$25+/hour based on experience

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Foreman or Team Lead to lead field crews and help deliver water harvesting, earthwork, and stormwater infrastructure projects throughout the East Mountains and northern New Mexico. This is a working foreman position responsible for coordinating daily activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, operating equipment, and supporting crew success in the field.

Who We're Looking For

We value attitude, reliability, and leadership potential as much as experience. Previous foreman experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to invest in and develop the right candidate who demonstrates strong time management, personal accountability, initiative, and a desire to learn.

Candidates with plumbing or construction experience who are ready to grow into a leadership role are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include 

  • Crew Leadership
  • Lead and motivate small construction crews.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Train and mentor crew members in construction techniques and safe work practices.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and respectful work environment.
  • Project Execution
  • Read and interpret plans, layouts, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate daily activities to meet project schedules.
  • Ensure projects are built according to design intent and company standards.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they become larger problems.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and material needs to management.
  • Equipment & Construction Operations
  • Operate and supervise operation of equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, trailers, and trucks.
  • Perform or oversee plumbing, grading, excavation, drainage improvements, stormwater earthworks, rainwater harvesting installations, irrigation installation, and landscape construction.
  • Customer Interaction
  • Address routine customer questions and communicate concerns to management.

Qualifications:

  • Construction, plumbing, landscaping, excavation, irrigation, or related field experience.
  • Ability to lead a crew and maintain a productive work environment.
  • Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating construction equipment and towing trailers.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor.
  • Must work well within a small team
  • Must live somewhat close to 87008

Irrigation Specialist

Part-Time or Full-Time 24-40 hrs/wk

$22-$25+/hour based on experience

We’re looking for an experienced irrigation specialist who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate understands drip irrigation, valves, controllers, pumps, filtration, and system troubleshooting. 

We would really value someone who knows more than we do in this area! 

Experience with rainwater harvesting and greywater systems is a plus.

Responsibilities 

You should be comfortable specifying materials, diagraming irrigation systems (either by hand or computer drafting), working outdoors, diagnosing problems, completing irrigation installations and repairs efficiently, and communicating professionally with customers. You might also be asked to pitch in on other aspects of projects to help the team. 

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to "jump right in" are required. 

MS06 license strongly preferred.

Greywater/ Rainwater Systems and Landscape Installer

Part-Time or Full-Time 24-40 hrs/wk

$16.50-$21.50+/hour based on experience

We are looking for men and women to become part of our installation team, building residential greywater irrigation and rainwater harvesting systems. Responsibilities include all aspects of residential plumbing, irrigation and general construction, as well as digging/trenching, operating tools and equipment, gardening, and landscape work. The work is usually outdoors or in crawl spaces, usually in 2-5 person crews. 

Requirements:

  • Experience with light construction
  • Plumbing experience desired
  • Operator experience is a plus
  • Ability to work all day outdoors, in a crawl space, or digging trenches/hauling mulch as needed
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record, ability to back a trailer
  • Must work well within a small team
  • Must live somewhat close to 87008
  • Must care about the environment and sustainability

Plumber

Are you are a plumber looking for something a little different in your career?  We are looking for men and women to become part of our installation team, building alternative water systems that save water, protect the environment, and make living in our community sustainable. Responsibilities will include installing potable water filtration systems, backup water lines, diverting drain pipes to greywater, and similar. 

Requirements:

  • Experience with light construction & residential plumbing 
  • Ability to work all day outdoors or in a crawl space as needed
  • Valid driver's license & clean driving record
  • Must work well within a small team
  • Must live somewhat close to 87008
  • Must care deeply about the environment and sustainability
